KourCo has trained and licensed staff qualified to complete Naturally Occurring Radioactive Material (NORM)/Gamma surveys in accordance with the LDEQ regulations and guidelines at oilfield facilities, such as active and inactive pipeyards, where exposure to elevated Gamma radiation could be a concern to employees or prospective purchasers.  KourCo utilizes a calibrated Ludlum 44-2 detector to complete these surveys.  KourCo compiles the survey data and submits survey reports to the client and/or LDEQ for determination of any remedial requirements.
